Enrolment

Step 1
You will need to visit or telephone the IT Centre.
A Learning Guidance Advisor will discuss your needs and assess which courses will be best for you. Basic ID will be needed to enrol you.

Step 2
You will be given a Welcome & Induction.
You will be made to feel welcome and introduced to the staff. There will be some paperwork to do but most importantly you will have a chance to get started. Someone will be able to answer any questions you may have and they will confirm your course program and weekly session times.

Step 3
You start attending with a commitment to meet your goals.

Costs
There is no cost for courses as these are fully subsidised. Unemployed people will be given assistance towards their travel expenses of £4.00 per day.

Please note that this help towards travel costs is not a JCP payment but a goodwill gesture by AB1 Group.
The JCP asked AB1 Group, who own the Waterlooville IT Centre, if they could assist financially their customers. Having agreed to help with these payments JCP have agreed these payments do not affect any benefits paid to people.

The Waterlooville IT Centre is privately owned and run by AB1 Group Ltd to provide training and skills for the local community.
