The Waterlooville IT Centre has worked closely with the Sector Skills Service since August 2005. The Sector Skills Service is a FREE Information, Advice and Guidance service backed by Government and Public Sector funding. The service is primarily aimed at helping the unemployed and those recently made redundant move back into work. The service can also assist people who are working but possibly under the threat of redundancy or needing to consider a career change. The Waterlooville IT Centre provide Tutor & Assessor support to a number of different Sector Skills Service Workshops designed to assist the unemployed.
The Waterlooville IT Centre has provided learners with online access to learndirect courses since September 2003.
